Can I get a refund if I withdraw from an event ? Entry fees will normally be refunded if you withdraw from an event 14 days or more before the event. However, if you were allocated places in all 5 events as a result of the priority system, refunds will only be given if you withdraw from all events. This is to prevent abuse of the priority privilege. Any refund will be subject to a 10 GBP administration fee for each refund we have to process, and adjusted for any discounts. Is there a discount for entering lots of rounds? Yes, if you enter all five events the discounted price is 235 GBP for experienced competitors (those with previous BPCup or Nationals experience), and 210 GBP for newcomers. If you enter 4 events the total price is capped at 210 GBP for experienced pilots and 180 GBP for newcomers. There is no discount if you enter 3 or fewer events. How do I pay? When you register information will be displayed telling you how to pay and you will also be sent an email with this information. If you've lost it you need to either Transfer payment direct to
Bank: LLoyds Add your name and pilot number to the payment reference, otherwise we cannot tell who sent the money. or send a cheque for the sum of the rounds you've entered, made payable to 'British Paragliding Cup', to
Gary Jackson How do I know you've received my payment? It will show as 'Paid' on the pilot list. Pilots are responsible for checking that they are showing as paid. There have been a couple of times when pilots sent cheques that weren't received. Another reason for not showing as paid is when pilots pay by bank transfer but don't put in a reference as to who's paying we don't know who has made the payment. If, after a week you don't see your status has changed to paid then it is YOUR RESPONSIBILTY to contact the BPCup finance person at the above address and sort out what has happened. What if my cheque bounces? You will lose your place. |
